Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for documenting processes, performing user acceptance testing, and gathering requirements for new projects / requests.
You will also be responsible for acting as the first line of support on issues and requests generated from our ERP system.
This role will report to the Director of Business Intelligence.
This is a full-time exempt position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:
00 AM to 5:
00 PM EST.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demands.
Flex schedule with option to work remotely a couple days a week will be incorporated.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Review existing business processes and provide input on process improvement.
Responsible for gathering requirements for new projects / requests.
Responsible for testing all new processes prior to implementation.
Responsible for writing SQL scripts to create reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI.
Will be responsible for creating technical and end user documentation for system upgrades and new processes.
Will follow pre-defined internal test plans specific to each project assigned for testing.
Design, test, implement and maintain all new maps required for EDI exchange.
Working with internal and external customers to resolve issues and ensure vendor compliance.
Testing and configuring API integrations developed by IT staff Will be responsible for acting as level 2 support on all ERP system issues.
Track and resolve outstanding action items that are defined in technical projects to support the company and its goals.
Assist with the implementation of new systems and upgrades of existing systems.
Support system and component owners; provide quality control and oversight.
Analyzes current trends and provides input into how to mitigate risk.
Communicate effectively with direct manager regarding accounts and projects.
Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and company staff.
Coordinate with trading partners and/or third-party EDI vendors on any new or updated EDI setup/guidelines for vendor compliance.
Assisting customers in processing EDI transactions efficiently, accurately, and on time.
Meet defined department goals and daily KPI's.
Provide top notch customer service to both internal and external customers.
Perform special assignments/projects as required.
RequirementsPreferred
Qualifications:
Must be able to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with overtime as needed.
1-2
years of experience in a technical problem-solving role.
Ability to write SQL scripts is a plus.
Understanding of EDI a plus.
Must be able to work independently based on periodic guidance and direction - with excellent organization, accuracy and follow-up skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
